Razzmatazz combines a drum sequencer with FM synthesis and sampling. The drum sounds can be played with 8 touchscreen pads or any MIDI controller. The integrated sequencer offers up to 16 rhythms per preset and is said to provide pulsating beats and sonorous rhythms. Each individual pad can generate sounds from two FM oscillators and a WAV file, which can be shaped in a variety of ways with two filters, two envelopes, resonator, snap generator, effects and distortion.
