PUNY PLUMS

After three barren years, in 2022 my 10-year-old ‘Marjorie's Seedling’ plum tree produced a huge crop of fruit to the extent that branches needed physical support. The crop never grew to more than large grape or damson size and so I wonder was it my reluctance to thin adequately, or was it the drought - or was it something else entirely?
