Who has been indexed?
Everyone! The team behind the NDFHS probate index project have meticulously indexed each person mentioned on the probate records: administrators, beneficiaries, bondsmen, bondswomen, creditors, debtors, executors, intestates, testators, witnesses. The fields indexed for each person, where details were included on the probate records, include: surname, forename, description (e.g. ‘son of…’), relationship
