My other half is currently learning to drive. And her experiences are reminding me of how it felt to be that inexperienced driver, hesitating at junctions in a liveried Fiesta, needing help with my clutch and unable to reverse around a corner. We were all there once, and it’s why I make sure to give learners all the space they need.
