LUDLAMS AT YOUR SERVICE

In researching my paternal Ludlam line, I found it interesting to note that my forebears were either ‘in service’, served customers easy to follow. The furthest back I can get on this line before I hit a brick wall is to William Ludlam. In the 1841 Census he is described as a labourer living whether in shops or pubs, or served in the Army.
