FamilyHistoryWA (FHWA) started as the Western Australian Genealogical Society Inc. (WAGS) on 1 January 1979 with just 21 members. The society aims to promote, encourage and foster the study, science and knowledge of genealogy by assisting its members to research their family history in Western Australia, as well as all corners of the world.
