WILD THING

At the age of 96, Sir David Attenborough has had a remarkable run on our screens. Since starting at the BBC in 1952, he has explored “almost every corner of our planet”, but the biologist admits he feels “fantastically lucky” to be getting his teeth into a new series focusing on wildlife in the UK and Ireland.

Building on his ground-breaking shows including and , the broadcaster finally explores his home soil in the five-part series , documenting life in woodlands, grasslands, marine and fresh water in places such as Northumberland and Wales for the first time.
