Denver’s invested in creating and maintaining a network of trails that can take you to wherever you wantmiles of on-street bike lanes, with more on the way. The Denver Moves plan is adding 270 more miles of bikeways, bike boulevards, and separated bike lanes on streets to make it safer and easier to get around town or into the foothills if so inclined. Trails stretch west from the city, connecting you to Red Rocks and Denver’s mountain parks just beyond. But if you’re looking for a trail that’s stood the test of time, roll or stroll on over to the South Platte River Trail.
