‘We’ve tripled the size of our kitchen’

WHAT DIDN’T YOU LIKE ABOUT YOUR OLD KITCHEN?

When we bought it, the house needed a complete overhaul, but we loved it and could see its potential. The kitchen was so tiny that only one person could be in it at a time. The storage space was pretty useless too, as the cupboards weren’t even deep enough to fit a dinner plate!

HOW DID YOU PLAN TO CHANGE THE SPACE?

After moving in, we immediatelyfamily life, with enough space for cooking, eating and relaxing. After many discussions with the builders and architects, and drawing up plans, we booked in an appointment at a local kitchen showroom, and went along armed with drawings of the new dimensions.
