Chemical quandary

The subject of how might be the best way for us mobile itinerants to deal with and dispose of our effluents has been a quandary for as long as any of us can remember. Dig and squat was the order of the day at one time, then more recently there was the era of the Elsan toilet. In a weird little tent outside. The senior citizens amongst us will recall this ‘portable toilet’, which was, in effect, a huge bucket with a seat and rubber seal which could be fitted on the top. Some brave folk even used them in their caravanettes. The Elsan could hold a lot of ‘stuff’ and was an awful abyss.
