Q Why would I DNA test at multiple companies?

A There are five major testing companies that offer some genealogy component to their results and at least attempt to connect you with identified DNA matches: 23andMe <>, AncestryDNA <>, Family Tree DNA <>, Living>, and MyHeritage DNA <>. Testing your DNA through multiple of these companies has become more affordable. Whether that is necessary relies on two factors: your goals and your budget.
