David Hallberg was appointed to the position of artistic director in March 2020 and, despite pandemic delays, he has already ushered in a new era of creativity, including the staging of radical Netherlands ballet Kunstkamer in 2022.
Hallberg's vision and , as well as , a co-production with the Australian Dance Theatre led by Daniel Riley, a Wiradjuri man and choreographer, set to music by Yorta Yorta composer Deborah Cheetham. will see former company members return to the stage and is supported by Audi, marking the beginning of a multi-year partnership between the two companies as “partners in progress”.
