Le Vie del Bike

As my bike rolls past the rocky edges of a winding road, I notice the wilderness that creeps up the limestone cliffs ahead. No more pretty villas bordered with c ypress trees ; no more crisp, green rolling hills. I didn’t expect to feel the chang e so quickly. Taking my time, I let my eyes wander throug h the scene that surrounds me. There has been ver y little traffic on the roads we’ve been c ycling on, and the standard blue road signs are often paired with the brown ‘point of interest’ signs pointing in the direction of the local c ycling routes.
