THERE ARE USUALLY around 200 marks available in a prelim or novice dressage test, so dropping a few here and there for inaccuracy will soon add up. With a limited number of movements and marks available for judges to dish out, making sure that your movements are as accurate as possible will ensure that you grab every mark going.
At grassroots level accuracy is the most common area for improvement and one of the easiest elements of a test to work on.
