THERE ARE USUALLY around 200 marks available in a prelim or novice dressage test, so dropping a few here and there for inaccuracy will soon add up. With a limited number of movements and marks available for judges to dish out, making sure that your movements are as accurate as possible will ensure that you grab every mark going.
