□ 2 stitch holders
TENSION
22 sts and 28 rows to measure 10x10cm (4x4in) over st st using 4mm needles
Each 16 st repeat meas 5cm wide when relaxed
ABBREVIATIONS
M1P Pick up and purl into back of horizontal strand lying before next st
TW2 SIl knitwise, K1. pass slipped st over st just knitted and K into back of it
SI2 knitwise, K1, pass 2nd st on right needle over first st and K into back
