Let’s move to Hayle

Not quite as quaint as dreamy St Ives across the bay, Hayle strikes a more earthy, hearty note. It is somewhere ‘real people with real lives live’, as one local tells us. There are granite outcrops and moorland to the west, but sheltering dunes, aka ‘towans’, and the estuary setting make the climate mild for the north coast location.
