A BETTER LIFE

Their house search was four years in the making. But one rainy October afternoon, Alice and Rob Lancastle walked into the charming farmhouse of their dreams. Surrounded by the lush Somerset countryside, it’s hard to believe they didn’t notice the incredible sweeping views until their second visit. ‘It just felt like home the minute we stepped through the door,’ Alice explains. ‘The house had been well lived in but was starting to look tired and needed some updating, as well as better cohesion.’
