The Arctic Parka has been refined with a host of technical features suggested by polar explorer Mats Grimsaeth. These include Helly’s proprietary Performance membrane, with waterproofing up to 20,000mm and high breathability. Graphene has been woven in to conduct heat and neutralise odour and static while Primaloft insulation and a heat skirt round the waist keeps the heat in. There is a retractable hood, a waterproof zip-up pocket, further hand and cargo pockets, double cuffs and a high collar.
