It’s not just about being more considerate to other boat users thanks to its near-silent electric motor; there are other good reasons to choose Elaqua’s e-PWC over a noisy ICE version. Firstly there’s no need to fill and carry cans of petrol. If you have a generator (and you probably do if you have a boat big enough to carry a PWC) you simply charge it from the mothership in about two hours. The lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery system will give a top speed of almost 50 knots and a range of about 80 miles (although probably not at the same time).

A touchscreen includes access to Launch mode, which gives full power and full speed for experienced riders. Cruise mode is for sightseeing and travelling with a smooth ride and increased battery
