EASTERN FEDERATION OF BRITISH BIRD FANCIERS memorial show to the late president Steve Dix will take place on March 12 at Risby Village Hall, Risby, Bury St Edmunds IP28 6RT. Opens to the public from 1pm. Judges engaged: hardbills, Mark Jones and Ewan Stevens; mules and hybrids, Derek Smith; softbills, Jason Jermy; Norwich canaries, B. Rayfield. Essex Birds will have a trade stand. Anyone wanting to show and needs a schedule, visit the club’s Facebook page or contact show secretary Rob Brown on 07799 762 120.

WELSH NATIONAL EXHIBITION OF SHOW BIRDS finally, after a three-year break due to covid, the show returned bigger and better than ever! More than 675 birds were entered; there was a sell-out sales section and judges came to assist from all over the country The show had patronages awarded from many different sections and even with a lack of local support/entries, the show had many new people showing for their first time. Organisers hope you all return for 2024.
