NEW AND UPCOMING LONDON HOTELS

The English capital has seen a slew of new hotels in the past few years. We published a roundup of such properties in November 2022, but the end of last year also saw some great new additions which we have listed here alongside properties slated to be unveiled in coming months.

RECENT OPENINGS

ART'OTEL LONDON BATTERSEA POWER STATION

It’s been a long wait, but PPHE Hotel Group has finally debuted its Art’otel brand in London. Business Traveller first reported on the 164-room property back in 2015 when it was scheduled to open in 2019, but the long-awaited hotel was finally unveiled in December 2022.

The property features interiors by Spanish artist and designer Jaime Hayon, who has drawn inspiration from both the buildings history and “its future at the centre of a new cultural district and neighbourhood”.

Facilities include an all-day restaurant with its own art gallery, as well as a heated rooftop swimming pool and bar. artotels.com

THE HOXTON, SHEPHERD'S BUSH

The Hoxton opened its fourth hotel in the capital in December 2022, located in west London. The 237-room hotel is situated on the north end of Shepherds Bush Green, close to shopping centre Westfield and music venue Shepherds Bush Empire.

The hotel has an open-plan lobby with vintage seating, a central wraparound bar and Thai-Americana
