NOISY SCAMMELLS

Two items made me smile in recent issues. Firstly, a glance back to those halcyon days in 1968, showing the Ford ‘Baby’ Arctic D300 model unit.

Back then there was no medical, no training, no test and no driver’ just had to be over 21, or maybe 23 or 25 for some firm’s insurance? But with a carlicence you could then drive -any goods vehicle? Log sheets? -disposable? Although not the Servis Recorder tell-tale ‘card’! Home on a‘dodgy’ night out was always exposed by the Traffic foreman....
