The High Weald Steam Working Weekend volunteers celebrated the end of 2022 after their successful first show, held in June 2022, with an end-of-year steam threshing day. Unfortunately, with persistent rain on 28 December the working was postponed until 29 December when the weather had greatly improved, with sunny spells and a light wind, says Bryn Kemp.
