Gloster show welcomes Fife, Norwich and Irish canaries

NORTH OF ENGLAND GLOSTER CLUB

THE North of England Gloster Club (NofEGC) 47th annual show was held in Bomarsund Sports & Social Welfare Centre on November 13 2022. The joint venture with the Old Varieties Canary Association (OVCA) again proved successful for both exhibitors and visitors.

There was an entry of 542 canaries: 302 champion and 76 novice Glosters, 95 old variety canaries and 37 Lizard canaries graced the benches. Additionally, the newly added any other variety canary (AOVC) classes had 32 Fife, Norwich and Irish. As usual exhibitors could view the judging which enabled a better engagement with the process, and refreshments were available for exhibitors and visitors throughout the duration of
