CSF INTERCOOLERS FOR 992 CARRERA/S/GTS/4/4S
The most important features of these CSF intercoolers are their two-row F1-grade cores, featuring rolled tubes with inner fins. Manufactured in partnership with CSF's technical partner, PWR, they're same style as used in CSF's air-to-air systems previously developed for the 992 Turbo/S and 991 GT2 RS. The cores eliminate heat soak and lower Intake Air Temperatures (IATs) much more efficiently than traditional ‘bar & plate’ or ‘tube & fin’ designs and, as is the case with CSF's other intercoolers produced in collaboration with PWR, these new high-performance 992 parts feature 100% TIG-welded machined billet aluminium end tanks capable of withstanding increased boost pressures from bolt-on modifications and higher performance tunes, as well as upgraded turbochargers. Weighing just 7.7kg and offering straightforward fitment utilising all factory mounting points, the kit can be ordered direct from Design 911.
