Located north-west of Alice Springs, the community of Yuendumu is home to Warlukurlangu Artists, one of the longest running and most successful Aboriginal-owned art centres in central Australia. Sometimes shortened to Warlu, Warlukurlangu means “belonging to fire” in Warlpiri. Since 1985, Warlu has been supporting community, promoting Indigenous culture and producing glorious, colour-filled art.
