What inspired you to pick up the paintbrush?

I am Gudanji/Wakaja and my mob are from the Barkly Tablelands in the Northern Territory. My art, which I refer to as storywork, is sold under the name Nardurna, and actually started as a gift for some friends. They had been asking if I could create something and when COVID-19 hit in 2020, my plans to return to work in Melbourne fell through,
