Ramster Garden, set in the Surrey Hills outside Godalming, is a special place. It’s been in the same family for more than 100 years and is home to one of the country’s best collections of rhododendrons. It’s also open to the public, so you can experience its timeless magic for yourself.
The garden’s 20 acres were originally laid out in the Japanese style within an old oak woodland at the end of the 1890s. Features included plantings of acers and bamboo, Japanese stone lanterns and decorative timber bridges, many of which survive to this day.
