Arguably, crusading went on to have further impacts in all areas affected by European colonialism.
Military and political narratives of the medieval expeditions usually focus on male motivations, the intricacies of campaigns and the outcomes of battles. They have often neglected the significant roles played by women, not to mention the profound impact that crusading had on
