ROGER KEAN: A LASTING LEGACY

Fans of , and other classic Newsfield magazines were dealt a cruel blow in January when they learned that Roger Kean had passed away Roger, alongside his partner Oliver Frey (who sadly passed away in August 2022) formed Newsfield Publications with Oliver’s brother, Franco in the early Eighties and quickly launched magazines like the aforementioned and , creating an engaging, welcoming style that many other mags would emulate. Newsfield’s magazines were also notable for their young reviewers, many of which have gone on to form industry careers of their own.
