Native-loving saddle maker

My parents are farmers. Some horse owners began renting a section of their land and couldn't believe how awful it was that Mum and Dad had all this space yet didn't have any ponies for their daughter. The guilt kicked in and Mum went and bought my first pony, a little grey called Snoopy.

As a child I'd always liked being the centre of attention, so I naturally loved showing. My poor brother was forced to do leadrein, too, and we have a hilarious photograph of him sitting on his pony
