In a behind-the-scenes clip from her new music video for the title track of her ninth studio album Trustfall, Pink coaches her wobbly co-star after they perform an acrobatic stunt harnessed to a crane over the side of a cliff. “Clap and watch your hands come together,” she advises in a video she shared to Instagram. “It’ll make you instantly not dizzy anymore.”

In a career spanning more than two decades, the singer, 43, has learnt a thing or two about how to cope with circumstances that would make anyone’s headwhile promoting her new album (out February 17). “But it’s also like, I’m still a wife and a daughter and a mother, and I lost my dad, and it’s the pandemic. And then my almost dearest friend in the whole world died eight months later, and I’m still parenting … So you write all those songs and then you get to a point where you’re like, ‘Well, if we are sliding sideways off the axis, let’s dance!’”
