TANAK GETS M-SPORT TO THE TOP

A massive country – 172,754 miles squared to be precise – was dwarfed only by what will go down in World Rally Championship history as massive results for Ott Tanak and Craig Breen.

The 70th Rally Sweden was, by no means, must-win for either driver, but by placing first and second respectively after four days of intense competition in the frozen forests of the northerly Vasterbotten region, huge weights have been lifted off shoulders, while big gambles have paid off.

M-Sport invested heavily to prise Tanak back after five years away with its reduced two-car line-up an indication of where its resources have been prioritised.
