Rookie Remy Gardner, no-longer-arookie Oli Bayliss, with Aussies Luke Power and Tom Edwards also thrown in for good measure, there’s plenty to look forward to in the 2023 Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) – and there’s no better circuit to kick the whole shebang off at than the fast, flowing and picturesque Phillip Island.
The curtain raiser will be remembered for many reasons, not least as it will mark the first time 2021 Moto2 World Champion Gardner will launch off the line in his very first WorldSBK round.
It’ll also be the 32nd time the grand prix circuit
