Cravens Heritage Trains sells its last silver tube unit to LU

ESTABLISHED in 1995 with the intention of purchasing a Cravens Limited threecar unit from London Underground, Cravens HeritageTrains went on to buy a retiring four-car 62TS unit that became the only surviving silver tube stock in existence.

On January 21, CHT announced that it had sold the unit, typical of former Central Line operations, to London Underground as a source of spares for keeping the Underground’s Rail Adhesion Trains in service.
