Crew training at Crewe takes the Salop circuit by storm

WHILE January was expected to be a quiet month on the main line, with only two tours over the Settle and Carlisle route taking place towards the end of the month, Locomotive Services Limited at Crewe delighted linesiders by continuing crew training, this time on the national network.

As reported in issue 300, crewbut speed on the heritage line was limited to 25mph. However, it becomes a completely different matter on the main line at 75mph.
