I jumped at the chance to make this patten as, other than the fact it’s named after me, I’m a big fan of jackets that can be worn across multiple seasons, and this particular style was a gap in my wardrobe that’s now been happily filled. It’s the perfect ‘throw on’ jacket and looks good layered up in a range of outfits.

From a maker’s perspective, I also really like that it’s a nice palette cleanser of a project, no zips, no buttons or other complicated techniques
