Liverpool Street rebuild planned

LONDON Liverpool Street station could be rebuilt with a new building above it as part of plans revealed in a public consultation held in mid-January.

The scheme from Sellar, which developed London Bridge Quarter and Paddington Square, and MTR, follows an initial public consultation held in November. Network Rail is also involved in the project and the three organisations are working with stakeholders including Transport for London and Hyatt, which owns the Andaz London Liverpool Street hotel (formerly the Great Eastern Hotel).
