“The relaxed interiors exude character and warmth, equally at ease with elegant entertaining and everyday life.”

The name ‘Sirocco’, displayed in elegant script at the front of this Spanish Mission home on Sydney’s Lower North Shore, evocatively describes the house itself. Just like the Mediterranean breeze, it’s warm, airy and alluringly exotic. When combined with US West Coast glamour, it forms a heady mix.
Captivated by the classic stucco lines, as well as its five bedrooms, the owners bought the house in 2005 for them and their young family, which later grew to three children, now aged 11, 18 in February 1940, two years after its construction. “Attractive Australian home in [the] Spanish style … a patio garden, a sun deck and loggia on top of the garage, bougainvillea-covered pergola, walled terraces, multicoloured roofing tiles and cream textured walls give this home its picturesque charm”, the magazine enthused.
