hen Philip and Rachel Ridgeway embarked on fertility treatment to grow their family of six, they used donated embryos.. And they found them! Twins Lydia and Timothy arrived on October 31 last year, born from embryos frozen in storage for 29 years and 10 months. The twins were conceived in 1992, when Rachel was three. At almost 30 years old, its believed they could be the ‘oldest’ embryos to be born. Rachel told the it was ‘amazing’ how long the babies had ‘waited’.
