It sounds a little bit like the British tradition of afternoon tea, right?
Well, it’s actually a whole lot more than that.
Fika is essentially the practice of reconnecting with others by making time in your day to stop, take a breath, and savour your coffee slowly, perhaps while munching on a delicious kanelbullar – a Swedish cinnamon bun.
