Bang & Olufsen Beosystem 72-22

Sometimes, older designs can’t be bettered. This revamp of an iconic B&O product is one such example. Released to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Bang & Olufsen’s 1972 Beogram 4000 Series turntable, this limited edition Beosystem 72-22 features an original, fully refurbished turntable, Beolab 18 streaming stereo speakers and wonderfully sleek Beoremote Halo control. Perhaps what’s most remarkable is the original Beogram turntable was always intended to be upgraded, with sufficient space left inside the walnut casing for future tech improvements. This means these refurbished versions can now even handle streaming your music. The aesthetic is rounded off by a solid walnut presentation case, which ingeniously doubles as a turntable stand, streaming hub, remote control charging base and vinyl storage rack. $45,000, bang-olufsen.com
