“I started collecting ironstone jugs when I came across a set of five in various sizes,a large group, they are very pleasing. I’ve displayed them here at my home in Devon, where they sit happily against the contrast of the green shelves in my breakfast room. One local auction house owner in Devon said that you couldn’t sell them a few years ago and they would be chucked on skips! I purchase them when I see them in shops and auctions, and always keep a beady eye out. I might need to find a larger space to fit them all!
