Mike Dixon is one of the most successful MDs in showbiz. Highlights of his career include MD-ing Joseph and the Amazing Technicoloured Dreamcoat initially with Jason Donovan in the title role and then training the novice Philip Schofield. From there he went straight to Grease at the Dominion.

Over the years Dixon has worked, in different capacities, with just about every performer, director and producer you can think of, from Andrew Lloyd Webber to Morecombe and Wise and on six Royal Variety shows among many other projects. In places his memoir reads like a Who’s Who of musical theatre.
