INSPIRATIONS

Mateusz picked up first place in the Rising Star Portfolio category with his intimate photographs exploring the behaviour of birds. He told us: “I prepare my wildlife images in my mind for days, months or even years, researching animal behaviour, locations and sunrise times before I’m finally able to realize the image. Here, a pair of great crested grebes in full breeding plumage begin a courtship performance under magical morning light.”
