“WELCOME TO LIFE,” is the cheery greeting I get when I check in. It’s the type of thing a midwife might say to a newborn, but in this case, I’m being welcomed not to life itself but ‘lyf’, a ‘co-living hotel’ in the backstreets of Collingwood, Melbourne.
