The nearly 40 artworks in this two-venue show reflected Choi’s meditation on the forms and deviations of the human body, as in , , and (all 2022), sculptures of nude men with varying but extreme physical dimensions. Mixing references to exercise, sports, and digital media across his folding-screen sculptures and wall decals at P21, Choi adroitly explored the two meanings of “queer”: one meaning sexual identity, the other peculiarity.
