KAWASAKI Z650 PERFORMANCE

'll let you into a little secret… I actually own a Z650. The thing is, it's nothing like this one. Mine is a child of the 1980s, sports a four-cylinder engine and weighs about the same as a bulk bag of building sand. Aesthetically, it's not the prettiest, and as for the riding experience, you wouldn't wish it on your worst enemy. I still love it though, for sentimental reasons, but I wish it looked, stopped, and started like this latest iteration of Kawasaki's time-proven Zed. It's hard to hammer home how important this model is for the brand, having been in its line-up in one form or another since 1976, selling in the kind of volumes even the flagship ZX-10R could only dream of.
