Shania Twain is strutting into 2023 with the release of her sixth full-length studio album, Queen of Me – her first in six years.
The popular country star hasn’t released anything since 2017, but she introduced the new album with the release of the aptly titled Giddy Up!, her brand-new single The That Don’t Impress Me Much hitmaker sounds as fiery, flirty and fun as always on the new track. “These lines come to me when I’m thinking about how to put a little pep in my step’,” the 57-year-old says.
“I want people to feel good when they hear the new album. I want to set a celebratory tone and Giddy Up! is a way to call to the audience and say, ‘Let’s get ready for some fun!’ ”
