THE EARTHQUAKE FISH

This fish was so huge that when he thrashed his tail, earthquakes would shake the land. People never knew when the ground would begin to tremble and make their homes fall down around their ears!

They asked the goddess Amaterasu for help, and she heard their prayers.

Amaterasu summoned the thunder god Takemikazuchi, who was famous for his great strength and fierce temper.
